This book is a memoir of the horrible experiences faced by the prisoners in Concentration camps during World War 2. This book is a hurricane of emotions. I read Man's search for meaning before this. Both books speak about the courage, hope, and fight of the human spirit for survival. I also realized when you read books related to a specific topic back to back, one develops a bias. The most important aspect of this book that I liked was the man's relationship with his father. It gets deeper and deeper the more you dive into this book.  When Life gives you lemons, make a lemonade. I think this phrase was indirectly explained subtly. Certain hook points make a book a captivating read. I would say this small book was simply unputdownable.
